Jenny Packham brought English femininity with a dash of edgy grunge, mixed with ladylike sparkle to the NYFW runway. Flowing tartans, figure-hugging sequins, embellished biker jackets and dramatic gowns – this show displayed Packham’s ability to bring glamour to every outfit. Jonathan Simkhai’s collection was a powerful and sensual display of bold and striking silhouettes. From Spanish inspired bolero jackets and high-waisted trousers, to off-the-shouler embroidered bell sleeve dresses and decolletage plunging sparkling gowns, Simkhai’s show was incredible.
