Jill Stuart was the buzz show for Day 3 of New York Fashion Week. The tone was set with high caliber front row sitters, including supermodel Jaime King and the uber lovely stylist Bradley Goreski. Stuart delivered spring to the catwalk with an assortment of pretty pastels with a unique spectrum of peaches combined with soft greys. There were some terrific variations on pinks and yellows too, with dresses cut to precision; soft and flowing with the rhythm of the model, yet keeping in line with the body structure. Pleated skirts were the key to this collection, as were the scalloped edges of the skirts – making them unique and effeminate. There were cute and sexy briefs matched with either a sheer sleeveless top or cashmere sweater adorned with a silk bow cinched at the waist, complete with oversized clutch.
Extremely feminine blouses with drop waist knee length skirts and chunky gold heels signaled Jill Stuart as a must have label for Spring!
