The gorgeously effervescent and stunningly talented singer-songwriter, Chantelle Delaney, has been named as the Just Lashes Ambassador. Since we last spoke to Chantelle, she has been busy recording and producing an album with the best in the biz, frequently traveling between LA and Melbourne, and had performances with the likes of Aussie musical royalty, including Olivia Newton-John and Slim Dusty, under her belt. Chantelle has also featured as the Face of the iconic Melbourne Cup Carnival and Myer Fashions on the Field Ambassador.

Fast forward 6 years on, and Chantelle is constantly in high demand, touring all over the world and about to embark on a whirlwind US and South America tour, covering Hawaii, California, Florida, Cuba and Mexico! Not only is Chantelle still taking the music industry by storm, she is the GlamSmile Australia Ambassador, and a devoted wife and mum to 3 year-old Mason and former AFL player hubby, Jess Sinclair.

Chantelle can now add Just Lashes Ambassador to her list of accomplishments – and what a brand to be associated with. Just Lashes is a standout premium beauty provider, offering eyelash extensions, refills, colour and tinting, plus brow and facial threading. Just Lashes only uses products of the highest grade quality, applied using exclusive and award-winning techniques that are second to none and administered by highly trained specialists. With five locations in NSW (and a brand new Greenhills, Maitlands store opening in March), plus two VIC locations (Docklands and Moonee Ponds), Just Lashes is set to be your new favourite beauty lash bar.

Just Lashes will have some great activities to celebrate the opening of their new Greenhills salon. They have just launched a competition to win a set of Classic Lashes (valued at $150) and a $100 Mecca Maxima voucher for you AND a friend. A total prize pool valued at $500. Competition entries are via the Just Lashes Facebook at:

We sat down with Chantelle to chat about her new ambassador role, her passion for music and eyelash beauty.

What resonated most for you about Just Lashes – the brand story, the techniques and the overall quality service?
I’ve been a long-time fan of Just Lashes. They’re so passionate, professional and are leaders in their industry. I’m obsessed, Just Lashes enhance your look and give you confidence. I simply can’t live without my Russian Volume Lashes now. I’m so proud to be the Just Lashes Ambassador.

What is your favourite Just Lashes service?
I love all the services Just Lashes provide, but I just can’t get past the Russian Volume lashes. They hand-make little fans of 3-6 very fine extensions and graft them to each lash. It gives me a full and fluffy look which I absolutely adore. I also love the coloured lashes, tinting and threading services!

Why would you recommend Just Lashes – what sets them apart?
The Just Lashes team are International Award-Winning Lash gurus, who are a respected brand in the lash community around the world. They love and live to lash! The beautiful team at every Just Lashes salon pride themselves on being able to deliver a fast, quality service with their exclusive speed lashing technique. They know how busy we are and make it so easy for us to roll out of bed looking fresh and ready to go! The Just Lashes core values focus on quality, customer service and engaging in fun relationships with their clients! I’ve been to lash salons all around the world and no one compares to Just Lashes. They are simply the very best!

What details can you tell us about the Maitland store Grand Opening?
I am so excited to announce the new Maitland Just Lashes salon is opening on the 22nd of March at the all new Stockland Greenhills. There will be four treatment areas and the salon will be situated near David Jones and Mecca. Just Lashes will also be offering an amazing 25% off all lash extensions services until the end of May.

Can you give us the goss about whether there any future stores set to open in NSW and VIC?
Let’s just say Just Lashes is really taking over the Australian Beauty Industry. There are just so many things in the pipeline and 2018 is going to be a big year for the Just Lashes Team. We can say that we have another salon opening just four weeks after Greenhills, so follow us on Facebook and Instagram and watch this space!

How can someone interested in being a part of this beauty business become a Just Lashes franchisee?
Anyone interested in beauty or business should definitely check out Just Lashes. They’ve been in the lash business for a decade now, so their franchisees get immediate access to their proven systems and processes, which in my opinion is so incredibly valuable!
Some of the benefits include a turn key fit out, help to scout the site and negotiate with the landlord, extensive recruitment support, and they even train your staff on how to do lashes. There is a Customer Contact Centre who handle everything from enquiries to bookings and collecting payments – they also call your clients to confirm appointments, so that you can focus on more important things (like generating income). The initial investment is around $200,000 to $250,000 – which is quite reasonable considering the earning potential. Gosh I think I might buy my own Just Lashes salon, it excites me so much! Inquiries can be made via the website:

You’ve just embarked on a whirlwind tour of the US and South America – what were the highlights of your trip?
Yes, I’ve just been to amazing places like Hawaii, San Diego, LA and Mexico to name a few. I love performing to international crowds! A highlight of the trip was meeting a man named Gary who lives just outside LA and has terminal cancer. He got up and danced with me during a song in my show. Gary said it meant the world to him when in fact, it truly meant the world to me! His spirit and positive attitude was so inspiring. There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. It was really a heartfelt, magical experience. It was a show I will never forget!

Can you give us an insight into some of the new music you’re writing? Is there a certain theme or focus you’re passionate about?
I’m really enjoying writing my music. I feel in the past few years I’ve experienced a lot that has really shaped my song writing. I think becoming a Mum, traveling a lot, going through a lot of ups and down has really inspired my writing. I’m not focusing on a certain theme as such, I’m just letting what wants to come out, come out!

What is it like working with songwriters such as Shelly Peiken (co-writer on songs by Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Cher, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Ed Sheeran), and Pam Sheyne (co-writer of Christina Aguilera’s mega hit ‘Genie in a Bottle’)?
Pretty damn awesome! It’s such a spin out because as a young girl I would dance around to some of the songs that these hit songwriters have written …. and now I’m working with them! You can’t help but feel motivated, inspired, a little nervous but mostly in awe of these ladies when in the room working with them. They are powerhouses!

How is it being managed by Lori Leve, who is responsible for breaking big names like Macy Gray’s huge hit, ‘I Try’, as well as ‘Bitch’ by Meredith Brooks?
Lori has become like family! She is such a great manager and friend. There is no one else I would rather want standing beside me on my music journey.

Is there a favourite song of yours to perform live?
I always love performing my own songs live but if I had to pick a cover song, I love performing anything by Adele!

What is next on the horizon for Chantelle Delaney?
Lots of touring, performing, song writing and of course lots of exciting new Just Lashes commitments. I’m so ready for 2018, I have a feeling it may be my favourite year yet!
