The city of Melbourne was in full swing on Thursday night celebrating Melbourne Fashion Week. The vibrant atmosphere of Little Bourke Street was alive with the energy of fashionistas strutting their stuff. Dressed to the nines in stunning outfits, each person added to the kaleidoscope of styles and unique flare that filled the street.
As people walked by, they suddenly stopped in their tracks, captivated by the vibrant display. Many pulled out their phones to film the scene, while others stood in awe, fully immersed in the performance unfolding before them. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as onlookers exchanged remarks and pointed out moments that particularly caught their attention.
The runway featured a variety of brands located in the Emporium, including Aje, Et Al Australia, Husk, Jac + Jack, Maje, MJ Bale, Oroton, Rebecca Vallance, Sandro, Zadig & Voltaire, Altea, Anna Thomas, Bec + Bridge, Calibre, Marimekko, Morrison, Rodd & Gunn, SABA, Witchery, and Viktoria & Woods.









The runway highlights were a mesmerising showcase of diverse fashion styles, creating a dynamic fusion of elegance, edginess and seasonal allure. Key standout pieces included the enchanting spring collection from Maje, which captured the essence of bohemian French style. With their lightweight and airy fabrics, these garments celebrated the refreshing spirit of the season, evoking feelings of warmth and lightness.
In stark contrast, Sandro offered a collection that exuded strong masculinity and an edgy flair. The pieces were artfully styled, encapsulating a sophisticated yet effortlessly cool vibe, with structure and ease showcasing the versatility and confidence of the contemporary Parisian street style.
Gothic-inspired designs from Et Al were characterised by dark hues, intricate details and a dramatic flair. Oroton presented a line that evoked the spirit of summer escapes, with relaxed silhouettes and light, breathable materials perfect for warm-weather adventures. The overall runway was a dynamic fusion of elegance, edginess and seasonal charm.
