The 2017 Grammy’s have come and gone in a flash of sequins, laser beams and ridiculously talented performances. Adele, the wonder that she is, displayed her genuine care for her music, and that of other artists, firstly by re-starting her tribute performance for George Michael and then by honoring Beyoncé when the Hello songstress won the Grammy for Record of the Year. Lady Gaga rocked out with Metallica; Bruno Mars personified Prince; and Gary Clarke Jnr gave a scintillating performance with co-writer William Bell.
Chance the Rapper also had a stunning night, winning for Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance. Australia’s own Flume made us all uber proud by winning for Best Dance/Electronic Album, whilst musical icon David Bowie posthumously won 3 awards, including Best Rock Song for Blackstar.
