The Byron Bay International Fashion Festival’s (otherwise known as BBIFF) Swimwear Collection Runway showcased some Australian and overseas designers whose colourful and summer-infused designs stood out from the pack and sparked my interest.
Those included, first and foremost, Solar Bare, who vibrant and beautiful ‘fash vest’ (a play on rash vests) designs and patterns inspired by marine life were gorgeous and perfect for an Aussie summer of surfing, swimming and playing in the sun and sand.
Other stand out swimwear designers that turned the heat up on the runway included: Alcie May, Heyy Dream Swim, Mess by Michelle (Israel), Seafolly, Siren Song (Hawaii) and Sun Lovers (Japan), in order below.
