The Como Melbourne M Gallery by Sofitel is an iconic hotel situated in the fashionable precinct of Chapel Street in South Yarra. Perfectly positioned for those wanting to discover renowned restaurants and high-end fashion stores, as well as a multitude of easy transport options, guests are spoiled for choice. The hotel’s proximity to the Channel Ten Studios makes it ideal for visiting superstars and celebrities to frequent, however it is the hotel’s outstanding 5-star luxury that really entices the A-listers to want to stay, and stay again.
Hollywood mega-star or not, the beauty of the Como Melbourne is that all guests are made to feel welcome, with friendly reception staff, fabulous amenities and gorgeous rooms on offer. Featuring 111 contemporary and spacious accommodation rooms, suites and apartments, with the option of 3 Loft Penthouses, you’re sure to find the perfect abode.
We stayed in a gorgeous and spacious one bedroom apartment with king bed, office desk, separate lounge room with couch and tub chairs, full kitchenette, dining table and chairs. Not to mention an amazing floor to ceiling mirror, complimentary wifi and outdoor Japanese garden access via two lots of double glass doors.
The large marble bathroom featured a deep spa bath (with adorable Como duck toy), roomy walk-in shower (with fantastic shower head and water pressure) and Appelles bathing products.
The hotel has some gorgeous internal spaces too, from their marble foyer with pops of fuschia and chrome sculptures, to vibrant yellows and greens with modern lighting throughout the hallways.
The highlight of our stay was the stunning rooftop pool with glass sky light and outdoor sun deck, perfect for any season of swimming and lounging.
